I have lived on the Mendocino Coast since 1981. First employed as a Journeyman Roofer, later as a framer - and worked concrete.
I then worked in the woods and began harvesting seaweed with John Lewallen and Eleanor Lewallen of Mendocino Sea Vegetable Company.
I first worked with 'Ocean Harvest Sea Vegetable Company' some 25 years ago,
and still work for the same company!
My favorite work was as a sourdough baker of wood fired organic artisan breads at Cafe Beaujolais for 12 years when it was owned by Margaret Fox and Chris Kump.
I have been involved in Landscape Dynamics and the Politics of Forestry. Some of those historical times, my writings, and my often "official comments into the public record" can be viewed on my website:

In an effort to protect and share, through art and politics, we become aware. What's behind the curtain, behind the scenes?
I am an Advocate for Wild Healthy Clean Oceans. Just a country man at heart.
